Casa da Baía – Setúbal Tourism Promotion Centre has been voted Local Experience of the Year 2019 in Europe by the Travel & Hospitality organization.
Setúbal Municipality receives the Clean City Award, thanks to the quality indices obtained in the environmental area, namely regarding hygiene and urban cleaning. The Humana Circular Awards, created by Associação Humana Portugal, highlight efficient waste management and the promotion of sustainable development and circular economic models by public or private entities.
Setúbal Municipality received in Lisbon the National Prize “Mobility on Bicycle”, awarded by the Portuguese Federation of Cycle Tourism and Bicycle Users, for the work developed in the promotion of this means of transport in the municipality.

The fourth edition of the Portugal City Brand Ranking, by Bloom Consulting, places Setúbal in the Top 10 most appealing municipalities to live, visit and invest in.
The Best Beach in Europe award, from European Consumers Choice, is given to Galapinhos beach. The award results from the online voting of thousands of internet users, from the European Best Destinations portal.
WINE magazine elects Setúbal as Gastronomic Destination of the Year 2015, at the Best of the Year Gala, held in Porto

An article by “Le Vif/L’Express”, with an average circulation of around 100,000 copies, points to Setúbal as one of the “Ten safest cities in the world”.
USA Today magazine elected the Mercado do Livramento as one of the most famous fish markets in the world, in a list that includes squares such as Tsukiji, in Japan, the Bronx, in the United States, or the Mercado Central de Pescado, in Spain.
